Which relay link(s) are you interested in?

On inline skates I plan to skate from San Jose to Palo Alto.

How did you find out about NBG/Mayors' Ride?

Don Loomis

Why do you want to do this ride?

I enjoy exercise and long distance skating.

Tell us about your touring experience- if little or none, indicate how many miles have you ridden over the last year:

I have been skating for over 10-years and skate regularly on the Friday-night skate in SF, Wednesday nights at Stanford University & Sundays on Canada Road all skates cover from 8-12+ miles I have competed in 50-K skate races prior to that I was a runner.

Tell us about your bike:

Yes, I do ride a bike however, I will be skating on my 5-wheel inline skates.

Please describe your training regimen:

A combination of jogging 3-5 times per week and skating 3-5 times per week sometimes doing both on the same day. I am very active and I usually exercise 6-7 days a week. I take vitamins and rarely eat junk food. The exception is chocolate however, I do not consider chocolate junk food.

How are you making time for this ride?

Taking time off work.

What are your fears about doing this ride?

None, after skating in a race at Laguna Seca Raceway and surviving several laps down the \"corkscrew\". I am excited about this ride/skate.
