3. Why you want to do this ride

To proactively exploit the synergistic opportunities afforded through simultaneous promotion of environmentally responsibl ealternative transportation, cultural heritage, and community building.

4. Tell us about your touring experience- if little or none, indicate many miles have you ridden over the last year:

Over 1000 miles on a 52" hiwheel .

5. Tell us about your bike

Home-brew special affectionately termed "The Inferior" in deferance to the bike I couldn't afford yet.

 6. Describe your training regimen

11mi/day on hiwheel + 120mi with it on the train

7. How are you making time for this

As a result of such efforts, the National Bicycle Greenway network will establish the bicycle as a desirable part of the transportation mix. As more of the Greenways is built and maintained, for a fraction of the cost of building even just a few miles of interstate freeway, the many advantages of bicycle transportation will soon become evident.
