From NBG email. Go Martin!
Why do you want to do this ride?
It is vital that more Americans discover the joy and good health of using bicycles for routine trips. As we ride we contribute to better communities, sustainable transportation, cleaner air, and better personal health.
Tell us about your touring experience- if little or none, indicate how many miles have you ridden over the last year:
I've ridden on several Great Ohio Bicycle Adventures, self guided trips in Ohio & West Virginia, and a self guided trip in The Netherlands.
.
Tell us about your bike:
I ride a Breezer Liberty as my primary transportation choice. Usually I have a grocery pannier on one side, and my biz pannier (w/ laptop) on the other. What a wonderful bike! The componentry is great, strong wheels, fenders WITH mudguards, and a built in generator powered lighting system.
Please describe your training regimen:
Training? I ride everyday for routine trips.
How are you making time for this ride?
I can always make time for a ride over the Golden Gate Bridge!.
What are your fears about doing this ride?
None
