2. How you found us

I have known Martin Krieg for many years and have worked on the NBG project with him in the past.

3. Why you want to do this ride

I truly believe in the cause to help more people get out of their cars and onto bicycles for the betterment of this planet. We can only accomplish this by providing an easier way for people to get to their destinations without fear of being hurt. Besides it is fun to ride a bike.

4. Tell us about your touring experience- if little or none, indicate many miles have you ridden over the last year:

I have ridden many centuries, double centuries, and cross state tours. I have also ridden from the SF Bay Area to Yosemite and Santa Cruz to Yosemite fully loaded and self-contained.

5. Tell us about your bike

I have 5 bikes right now. My main bike is a Kestrel 500sci. I also have a touring bike, a road bike, a mountain bike and a tandem.

 6. Describe your training regimen

I mostly ride with friends in my bike club. I have been a member of the Santa Cruz County Cycling Club for 11 years. We usually ride 40-60 miles each week.

7. How are you making time for this

I am taking some time from working now. Sort of an early retirement.

8. What are your fears about doing this ride

I have no fears of doing a bike ride. It is always fun.
