How did you find out about NBG/Mayors' Ride?

My husband Mike Sutton went last year after being invited by Greg Barron of Rideable Bicycle Replicas in Alemeda, CA.

Why do you want to do this ride?

After hearing about the ride last year, I wanted to ride along this year with my bike.

Tell us about your touring experience- if little or none, indicate how many miles have you ridden over the last year:

Mostly easy rides, a few rides a week, from two to four miles, sometimes longer.

Tell us about your bike:

This year I want to ride my Rideable Replica 38" Standard Boneshaker Pennyfarthing.

Please describe your training regimen:

My normal rides for pleasure help keep me ready to go.

How are you making time for this ride?

There is no conflict with my schedule at this time.

What are your fears about doing this ride?

I have no fears.

Do you have any special skills that you feel would benefit the Mayors' Ride?

Only my great attitude!

Anything else you'd like to share with us?

This will be my first group ride on my Pennyfarthing and I am looking forward to it.

These bike friendly corridors will link our urban areas with our wilderness and other open space lands and they will be designed so that wildlife will be able to safely cross them. On the stretches between urban areas, markers along the Greenway will explain the history and geography of the various regions that one passes through.
