We helped Berkeley celebrate itself in one of the most colorful, irreverent, and fun events on the west coast. The Eleventh Annual "How Berkeley Can You Be?" Our 2005 National Mayors' Ride met our lead scout Scott Campbell and Car Free San Francisco Supervisor, Chris Daly. on Friday July at San Francisco City Hall where we were all the buzz. The excitement continued on to the monthly Critical Mass ride that we then electrified the throngs of cyclists with.

In what is quite arguably, America's #1 bike city, Palo Alto Mayor, Judy Kleinberg, and a slew of other dignitaries and city officials, as well as a a throng of community members, greeted the NBG Scouts, led by Boston to SF rider Scott Campbell, who had ridden in from San Jose NBG Day. The 14 happy pedalers who powered the Busycle across Palo Alto to its City Hall gave up their seats so others could take part in the several victory laps that also resulted, one of which was piloted by the Mayor herself!

In heat that climbed as high as 113 degrees, five HiWheels (Jacques Graber, Martin Krieg, Randy Mitchell, Marty Wilson and Ed Cox), and as many as 15 uprights, led by Scott Campbell.
